Dark Circles Affect Over 30% of Men and Women

March 17th, 2008 by Dr. C. David Excelano

Dark circles are more than just a hereditary factor. They are caused when blood and toxins pool in the lower part of the eye pocket where the skin can become thin. Most everybody has a little darker area there but for many the veins in that area tend to leak causing the blood to pool and the skin often becomes thin due allowing the darkness of the blood to show through. There are several ways to combat this but the best is with a stimulant to keep the blood moving and the second is a vessel wall strengthener that keeps the blood from leaking in the first place. There are a few facial creams and eye creams that have this and while they tend to be pricey, they are truly worth it for elimnating dark circles.
